Took mushies one night with my mates and we'd decided to go to Stairways night club (heavy rock club in Birkenhead). for some reason, I ended up splitting up from my mates and thought, ok, I'll meet them in the club.

Bad idea. My mates were no where to be seen but there were plenty of demons in there. Yes, I was in hell.

One particularly hostile demon kept snarling at me until I left.

Got back home and my mates were all in my flat getting stoned and listening to music.

Don't do drugs kids.

On second thoughts, do drugs if you want, just don't go to Stairways.
Massively way off topic this and I apologise in advance, but I won't have a bad word said about Stairways. I was in a bad metal band many years ago and we opened for Lisa Dominique there. We all had to share a very basic 'dressing room' and she changed tops in front of us. One of the happiest moments of my life.1663030129071.webp

I believe that there is something else. That our spirit lives on after our body dies.I also believe that those who loved us in this life, continue to love us in the after life. I'm a non practising Catholic, educated by nuns, so can't quite shake off the religious context. I believe in heaven and hell. I think heaven is what you want it to be - you will see the people you want to meet, your pets will be there. Mine will most likely be populated by kittens, humpback whales and cheese and onion crisps - assuming I get there!

I`m with you on Stairways.

As a teenage stoner scall, I spent many a happy night in there.

When you were stoned, it was a bit of a hard place to navigate your way around though.

I can`t ever remember ever seeing any ladies of the calibre of Lisa Dominique in there !
