Believe me mate, there is absolutely no logical explanation for what I have experienced. I have tried making the stories short enough to post, but fail every time!

….it’s wonderful and it defies all logic but I’m sure you’re not alone in having such experience. Amazing thought that there might be a place after this.

I remember a story my grand father told me (more than once lol)

He was fighting on the Somme during WWI and he was blown up by a shell of some sort. He came round in a field hospital with a tag on his foot confirming his "death"

He always described the feeling of being temporarily dead as wonderful.

He said he would have preferred to have stayed being dead and he was never afraid of death after that.

Compared to the horrors of the Somme I guess anywhere would have seemed better, but it does make you think.

Inspired by a comment from @roydo there (who’s welcome to share if he feels) about knowing there’s something after we pass.

Or do you believe there’s just a void and that’s it?
If there is, then you'll find out.
If there isn't, then you'll never know anyway - you're dead, gone, 'stopped' ala Roy Batty...but without the stirring speech probably.

There should be...but when did that ever cut any ice...I can quite get behind 'the pass and fail nature of reincarnation until you get it right' thing .
I'm in no big hurry to find out tbh.

We have a winner

It's the wheel of live , your body ends , your energy moves onwards to become some other in the universe.
Alive you are a collection of atoms dead you are a collection of atoms in a different form, on and on it goes.
I envy people who have true faith must be so comforting
I just wish my current collection of atoms had been distributed in a more pleasing arrangement

.. or have I just atom shamed myself?

If you don't mind me asking, what happened?

All 3 are linked, so it woulld be a very very long story. But as brief as I can. Soon after she died, a new plant appeared in the meadow int the only place I was guaranteed to notice. Never seen it before, nor since. Turned out to be Yarrow, with white and blond buds. (her colour). Googled it, and in ancient English myths, fair maidens would pick Yarrow and put it under their pillow to find their true sweetheart.

Week or so later, had a small nosebleed. It got terrible enough (think 2 taps turned full on for an hour) to call 999. They thought their machines were wrong cos I had the highest blood pressure they had ever seen. Took me in, 4 ECGs later and tons of tests later, nowt wrong. Googled Yarrow again. It was used in ancient medicine to stem the blood, and was thought to start nosebleeds. Some call it the nosebleed plant.

Then a week or so after me Dad passed, another plant appeared where Niks Yarrow had been. Same colours. It was the flower of a Kiwi Fruit, and in the 5000 plants, 100 page brochure I have, the latin/biological name it has is right next the bio name for Yarrow .

Bare bones, but that is all 100% true, and if anyone can explain it all away, feel free.
