Given that God is infinite, and that the universe is also infinite... would you like a toasted muffin?


I think you are mixing up the physical with the spiritual. The physical will always exist in, as you say, carbon atoms. The question is more the spirit. The consciousness. Will that continue in another plane? The soul. The answer to this is simple and hideously complicated. If there is life after death, then life before life would also have a symmetrical logic. With this line of thought, and also factoring multiple universe theory then if there is an afterlife and assuming heaven exists, then if every choice is played out could the same person (set of carbon atoms) simultaneously be in different afterlife scenarios? I suppose this brings into sharp focus the point of one bad deed making a person bad through choice. With that line of logic, no matter your choice in life, death would be already mapped out. Free-will 101. It doesn't exist, only in your mind.
And you know this definitively based upon your comprehension of existing theory, knowledge and experience or because you believe you are indeed 'God/g-d'?
