Elsewhere

Bohs 1 Finn Harps 1
Derry 1 Shels 0
Dundalk 2 Sligo 0
UCD 0 Drogs 1

Derry looking like the team to stop. We need to keep plugging away

Jack Byrne is one of the most skilful players I have seen in the LOI. The late Jackie Jameson still probably the best, Pat Byrne. the late Barry Kehoe.

And Shels have gone ahead!!!! Go on Duffer

I'll take that point. Cork somehow missed an open goal right at the death but I think we just about deserved a point. Few handbags at the end.

Wasnt a great game but much improved from the opening day drubbing.

We just weren't at it tonight but tbf a lot of that was down to a good Bray set up. Pains me to see a striker with the finishing ability of Rob Manley playing off the scraps he was provided with tonight.
Galway beat Waterford tonight and we can finish them already if we can beat them.down there on Monday, will be an enjoyable away trip hopefully but we need to be better then we were tonight

Exciting climax to the Irish League title race.

Glentoran took a point at league leaders Linfield tonight, leaving the latter two points clear of second placed Cliftonville.

They play home to Larne tomorrow and a win will take them to the top with four games to go.

You may have seen me posting elsewhere that one of my best mates is an East Belfast Glens supporter. We met interrailing in Copenhagen in 87. I keep an eye on Irish League results but I cannot support Cliftonville since their supporters came to Milltown and went around causing havoc .. I was mugged by one who had a knife, and robbed me - I think I was still a teenager at the time. I remember Giles scored the winner from a free
