I think that Moyes learned a salutory lesson in last seasons home match against Spurs when he lost the crowd, ever since his tactics have been far more positive and the team is better for it.

As for Faddy, he cannot play to instruction hence he will be the 'throw him on when all else fails' type player, a role he is well suited for. I also suspect that come the January window he'll be off to Celtic (who will still be second in the two team table), with TG making up part of the deal. His future at GP will become more and more limited when the kids start coming through cash him in(y) (y)

I fully agree with you there Monty. I think Moyes had quite a shock that a fairly large amount of the fans turned on him that night, and since then his tactics have been much more positive and i think we are definitely the better for it.

The same as players need competition for places to keep them on their feet, I think its important that the fans keep the board/management on their toes too. Great fans=great club.

I agree. My father told me once"the manager and the board are only babysitting the club, the fans actually own it as unlike them we have it for life, from start to finish". Kinda makes sense really.

Despite having very little bearing on anything resembling reality I thought you might like to know that Yak scored 30 goals in 26 starts for me on Football Manager but I sold him to Barcelona for £36 million in the close season. We also won the treble of League, Cup and Champions League last year and are just about to move into a nice new 96,000 all-seater. You'll all no doubt be sad to know that Peter Johnson turned down my application for the managers job, instead giving it to some guy called Walter Smith. *sigh* What could have been huh.
