20 minutes it took me to get out of the car park! The Nzonzi effect is upon us. Can you imagine how long it will take if James is commencing a game?

Add to this the extra 5 minutes it took to get here being an away game, does our sacrifice know no bounds. The suffering of Al Rayyan peoples knows no bound. No people of the middle east have suffered more!

However, we need to win our next game against the Al-Duhailians. I know they sit like mountain goats in 2nd, but if we raid their defences like we did in the Emir Cup semi, then I foresee another day of glory and yet again a 2-1 victory there.

It is of course The Qatari Stars Cup, Group A Round 2, on the 6th Oct - K.O. 17.50
This time we have home advantage as we return to the fortress that is The Ahmed bin Ali Stadium.
It's not like it's a Micky Mouse Cup or anything, I mean this one has a rich history dating right back back to 2017.
If James Rodriguez hasn't been frightened off after witnessing the pace of the Qatar Star League (and provided he's fit) Blanc may prefer to risk his hamstrings in the cup.
