Alan Irvine Sacked

I've felt like this was inevitable since he was appointed.

He didn't have a good pedigree as a manager at a lower level and wasn't a popular choice with fans when he was given the role.

The WBA chairman Jeremy Peace is basically another Daniel Levy - non-football person know it all, who really hasn't got a clue.

Dayum baby this guy is an arsehole, he has absolutely no intention of improving WBA at all, he just wants them safely in the premier league where they can bring in the tv and sponsorship money and wants to do it whilst spending as little money as possible, their next manager will be a former coach who is on piss poor money desperate for a job and he will expect them to perform miracles, if not he will just simply sack and repeat

Exactly. He has no patience and no long term vision.

Steve Clarke had them finishing 8th. He had a bad start to the following season and was binned off.

Neither Pepe Mel or Alan Irvine were doing great, but neither were given much time.

They've had 6 managers in nearly 4 years. That's just ridiculous.

He also had to replace Lukaku who was in monster form for them, the sale of Shane Long was another strange one. Anyway they have Anichebe now.....they are probably going down.

West Brom are 16th with 17 points, Palace are 18th with 16 points and everyone on this forum is condemning their chairmen for making changes.

We're 12th on 21 points and it's all 'sack him, sack him now'.
But we finished 5th last season and have a 28m striker, whereas they are both poop.

Last year after 19 games west Ham were 19th with 15 points, one point above last place and playing dreadful football - this season they are 6th with over double the points and generally entertaining. Funny old business.

Goes to show you what improving your squad can do rather than putting your eggs all in one basket. Sakho, Kouyate, Cresswell, Valencia, Amalfitano, Zarate (who's off to QPR on loan). Kouyate in particular looks a steal at 7m, 6ft 4 grock who's mobile, can pass the ball and is good in the air.
