Alan Partridge

Better than the first, does seem like there’s stuff thrown in that were ideas for other things - I.e. Partridge doing a history program.

The character felt a bit more like Partridge than in the previous episode where he was more of a conduit for one liners. The vindictive bits towards the last 10 minutes were great, especially after reading the Catherine Wheel tweet. You feel more will come from that but feel like the format let’s it down in a way that it can’t fully explore it.

My favorite bit if the episode that. I hope it's something that they follow up on. Would love to see it as it's own show.

This Time with Alan was very good, if not quite as good as the first episode imo.

Liked the great dig at Dan Snow - son of John Snow.

(recognized the actor Simon Farnaby with the wild hair from a BBC sitcom about metal detectorists called the Detectorists. He played Philip Peters 'Art Garfunkel' who with his fictional partner Paul Lee 'Paul Simon' - (nicknames as they looked like Simon and Garfunkel when actually Peters and Lee) formed their arch enemy duo 'The dirt sharks' (later renamed Terra Firma) )

MUCH, MUCH better than the first episode. Some of it was verging on classic Partridge.

Alan is always at his best when he's shamelessly using someone's death (and/or the same person's past indiscretions) to further his own career.
