Hello all my dad made is debut for Everton 59/60 season 23 April v Leeds utd scored only goal in 1-0 win looking for any photos or info on match
He was a unique hero then as that last person to score there in a League win in the top flight was Wayne Rooney- it was a graveyard of a league fixture for us even when we had top teams .....

The Spider-Man has to be joking, he can’t be serious, your dad was okay and the goal he scored was a good one, hit from around the twenty yard mark, scored in the Street end. Everton where in a poor position in the league at that stage of the season and that goal earned them three valuable points. If I am correct your dad went to Arsenal at the end of that season, don’t know if there was a fee involved. Is your dad still around, he’d be around the eighty mark now.
