Hello all my dad made is debut for Everton 59/60 season 23 April v Leeds utd scored only goal in 1-0 win looking for any photos or info on match
Had a friend named Stuart Tyrer when I was a teenager... he was a lovely Scouse lad who had moved down here with his parents when he was younger. He sadly died in a tragic accident whilst still very young (not even sure he reached twenty), sorry to go off topic but your surname brought back memories.

You must be very proud mate, played for Everton and scored too, fantastic, wish my dad had that record, only went to see him once when I was about five playing for his works team, stood there with my mum on the touchline my old fella got rinsed by a pacy winger and was subbed after about twenty minutes:blush:lollollol
Lol, I remember getting rinsed by a much faster younger man in a game once. A few years ago I was 34 he made a show of me the first time, then the next time I clattered him got sent off and I've never played since.

My old fella hung his boots up after that in shame lol I can't talk I haven't played for ten years and am 54 now but ended up playing in a Charity tournament last summer for the Walton Centre, nice "friendly" little tourney was the story I got sold,I didn't realise half our team were semi pro's in the National League,we ended up playing a team in the final with Ged Brannan ex-Tranmere and our own Gareth Farrelly,on more than one occasion I tried to "run" onto a through ball and while my mind knew where my legs wanted to go,the old legs weren't in tune with the mind, hence I ended up flat on my face on more than one occasion, the glory days have gonelolaaaaaah well I suppose my hero Terry would have been proudlollollol
