Maybe so, but he lives in the area so I'd expect him to know more about Everton than the average gunner.

We have two wingers that can head the ball in. That is good stuff. He also makes good passes and doesn’t want to fart around with the ball. He provides a more direct option to Bernard. Definitely a good fit so far

I saw this said a while back, Arsenal fans are used to seeing Lacazette, Aubamyang and now Pepe. In the past they have likely seen Henry, Bergkamp, Reyes, Perez, Ljumberg etc. Thats the standard they are judging players by, the best in the league if not the world.

Iwobi currently, and clearly for Arsenal is some way short of that. To them he may be akin to Davies. However he will get better with coaching and game time, and for us he is one of our better players.

The key when getting players from top 6 teams is partly age (are they young enough to get better) and mentality (will they be motivated to work harder at a club that is not currently as glamorous). He ticks both boxes for me.

Enjoying Iwobi.. as said I really didn’t know him much... does what I want from my attacker.. get in the box, looks to make key passes, makes runs at defenders and wants to score. This will mean less assists from Digne possibly but this is what our winger should be doing. Deffo tired as the game went on but very positive signs.

Wasnt impressed with the signing. Happy to eat any humble pie by the bucket load if he carrys on doing well.

Looks forward as soon as he gets it for the penetrative pass and provides a goal threat from outwide. Another good Marcel Brands buy....
