I assumed he was trying to put it through the keepers legs.

One big difference yesterday, not just down to Iwobi but helped by his movement and runs, was that we were often passing vertically. Even when it went to the wings it was often an attacking forward ball rather than the side to side or even back to a midfielder or fullback.

I'm not arguing Gylfi should have started, he shouldn't. We needed to switch it up and Iwobi played well and going forward I have no issue with him playing there if we play 4-2-3-1. But Gylfi not being in wasn't the only reason, is all.

Yeah i agree. Thought Iwobi was great yesterday and hope he keeps his place, but I think Gylfi probably would have had a better game than usual given the runs being made.

Iwobi was far more mobile than Siggy ever is, running at the defence from all positions, unsettles a defence because he is unpredictable.

Seen his miss last night , first touch though was absolutely superb, right out of his feet.

He played well yesterday just needs a little more composure in front of goal. He missed a good opportunity a couple of weeks against Burnley from 6 yards. He’s not afraid to carry the ball through the middle. He is always going to have to ball turned over occasionally because he so attack minded. I would take that over playing safe every time.
