He wasn't great but he wasn't bad either. It is tough for a player who wants to link up when the players passing him the ball are completely incapable of doing it. If the midfield performed like the did against West Ham he would have done better too. As it is he remains the only player on our team who can get the ball into the box regularly so he has to play.

Seems to be the jist of his career with Arsenal. Hopefully we get to see performances like last week more consistently from him.

Nope not good enough. For that kind of money you could get a box to box midfielder like Stindl from Gladbach. Iwobi is not much an improvement on Sigurdsson.
We should stop buying the Arsenal wimps and the Manchester cast offs. Lazy scouting all over!

As soon as he was moved from 10 we slowed down as did he. He's not a winger and should not be shunted around so Sigurddson can be shoehorned in

He should've been kept where he was. Bring Kean on for Bernard, put Richarlison on the left and I think we would have won.
...DCL seems ahead if Kean in the pecking order.

I completely agree, just DCL as the substitute instead.
No support from Sigurdsson. Looked better when Davies came forward, but Gomes seemed to refuse to fill space - which left us open just ahead of our backline.
