Stats dont show fight hunger or desire mate. Thats my point at least. He has none of that. Couple that with the fact he's actualy crap on the ball he wasnt worth 30p.
I doubt these stats things were around when we bought players like tim cahill as his would have probably been chucked out by the computer as a swerve. No great passing or dribble stats there i bet.

It's the same thing with Sigurdsson. Statistically and for the most part we'd all thought that, while excessive, we'd brought in a very good creative midfielder for that fee.

Then you watch him regularly for 90mins and see how much of a fraud he is in open play that gets disguised by good stats.

The thing with Iwobi for me was he is still developing.

American sports call them 'Intangibles'. Those abilities that dont appear in a stat analysis report.
 

I honestly don't think he is good enough for the premier league, he has skill but everything else is a standard below. No end product rarely assists and doesn't score, sounds like most of our forwards/wingers to be honest lol lol
