Did a night shift so relied on 5 live. Both commentators took the piss out of him, saying whenever they see him play he refuses to take the man on, on the outside and will 9 times out of 10 take the easy option and cut in on the inside.

Poor again. Really struggling for form and confidence. I don't like vilifying players as its counter productive. And you have to assume he wants to do well.

However, might be best for all concerned if he goes out on loan next season. Unlikely to get a decent fee for him on current form.

He offers nothing, just add him to the pile of garbage and loan him out in a subsidised fashion and forget he plays for us. Naughty Brands, shocker pal

Rule #2 - do not pass the ball to a guy who will not get it back to a teammate.

Right behind Rule #1 - no matter how good the pass looks, do not play the ball across your own box. Forward or towards the nearest sideline. Out behind if absolutely necessary.

I think Brands and Moshiri share the blame for this one. When we couldn't get Zaha, we should have just not signed anyone instead of looking for an inferior alternative. £40 million mistake, ouch!

Yes, but where? He's probably not totally unsellable at the right price on present wages, but which club that has the wages would he be an upgrade for?

I don't see how we're not stuck with him as an expensive squad player, unless we want to loan him out to get part of the wages back.

I can only think that Moshiri and Usmanov still owed Arsenal a few quid and Arsenal chucked Iwobi in as a freebie as part of the transaction.

I had high hopes for this lad when he came and defended him in here earlier on in the season, unfortunately his confidence is shot to pieces, nothing he tries is coming off, he doesn't work hard enough, I honestly feel uncomfortable criticising one of our players as I'm usually more of an optimist but Iwobi now brings nothing to the table and it's both sad to watch and sad for me to have to say that.

I remember it being the '?????' buy of the summer. As a collective were excited about Kean, pleased with the Gbamin buy, optimistic (wrongly) about Delph, hopeful about Sidibe, and seriously irked with Brands for bringing in Iwobi at the last minute after Zaha presumably fell through.

If he got the basics right. Looking where hes passing it then actually passing to one of our players. Making runs into channels etc. He would be halfway there. But....
