I have to agree. If we were to bring in any of the targets that have been mentioned in the transfer thread ( Buendia, Pereira, Olise or similar ), Iwobi will just move further down the pecking order and his wages are simply too high for him to spend 90% of the season on the bench.

Hopefully West Ham (due to European competition) or Palace (due to half their squad leaving this summer) will want to do business early in the window.

I really can't see anyone wanting to take him off our hands unless they had a particular gap in their squad that needed filling, but for the life of me I can't imagine what gap he could fill

None of those things make it a good fit. He's not struggling here because it isn't London, he was better at Arsenal than he has been for us so the pressure stuff doesn't matter and unless the manager is going to hurl Zaha away with great force it won't be a good fit for him stylistically.
