The thing is taking Iwobi for 5m as a reclamation project is actually possibly astute business. We won't be letting him go for that though so it's a non-starter.

Completely agree, but two problems - wages, and Brentford probably aren't that stupid.

We should just loan him out realistically, pay half his wages. Some club would take the risk on that. But ultimately the focus should be on ensuring he never plays a competitive game for us again. Like so, so many other signings we've made in recent years....
