Transfer fee for return I don’t see any worse to be honest. I’d say even Bolasie did more in the games he was involved in, at least he was a threat whilst looking like he might fall over!
We all know Niasse was a bad signing but for half the money of Iwobi he scored actual goals quite regularly when he played.
Sigurdsson was overpriced but had contributed, nowhere near what we paid but he contributed.
Iwobi has done next to nothing and I know the fee wasn’t decided by him but that’s why he infuriates most fans. Imagine what we could have got for that money if spent wisely.

I’ll reserve final judgment til I see the price we get when we inevitably sell him but for me pound for pound our worst ever signing and it was so predictable that he’d be as poor as he has been.

I don't think any club since the inception of the PL has spent so much dough,been held to inflated transfers for such unadulterated does as us, sorry but I just had visions of the likes of Nyarko,Kroldrup,Alexandersson passing randomly through my mind!!
Bolasie actually scored a couple of goals. Klaassen was so out of his depth he couldn't even get on the pitch. Yes we got a fee for him but we still lost a lot of money on him.

Worst? I don't know. Poorly judged yes but when I think of worst, I think of a player being absolutely unable to kick a ball. Didn't play cos it was clear to see he couldn't hack the league.

Klaassen knew he'd made a mistake, was professional and cut his losses and agreed to move because he wanted to play.
We lost money but he was swiftly moved on. We'll never get rid of Iwobi, just like Bolasie until end of contract.
Even on his better days he's ineffective. He offers zero goal threat due to his abysmal finishing and lack of runs into the box.
