Said this in the Ancelotti thread, the lad tries stuff, he runs with the ball and is progressive. Yes he can have a nightmare but im sure if he was allowed to play centrally like Gylfi, playing simple 5 yard balls backwards and sideways without attacking or defending then he wouldnt be getting attacked as much.

Play him through the middle, let him and James swap every now and then and I think we look better, with more pace, movement and mobility.

it’s the Iwobi thread. I’ve criticised the whole performance in general on the match thread and I’ve called Sigurdsson everything under the sun on his thread. Iwobi is lazy though, his attitude is terrible, and whilst he was marginally better than usual today he was coming off the bench fresh against a team that should have been tiring yet still refused to sprint in defence or to join the attack. That’s lazy in my book.

Thats very strange because I clearly remember him sprinting back late on in the game and showed strength to brush a Man U player off the ball to start an attack. Maybe he shpuld just start kicking people when he cant be bothered running, like some other players do.

I am not an iwobi fan, but agree.

He is an impact sub for me, fresh legs and a bit of pace later on in games. Has not shown enough when starting.
