The fact he waits and waits and waits for a player to overlap means he doesn't even see that big massive gap in the middle and the easiest of balls to play.
Its not like it was a rushed chance either, he had time to sit down, have a cuppa, watch his Masterchef catch up on demand and then put thr ball through.
Absolutely pathetic that he didn't see it. Stuff like that should be the end of his time with us here because it's game after game, season after season of offering absolutely nothing. Just another match with another moment of some of the most brain dead footballing decisions a player can make.
Even in a superb reserve team performance away from home he still seemed to stick out as the worst player. Quite an achievement

Because he was as good as he is now (probably worse) when he was a young player. And if an 18 year old was playing like Iwobi it'd be somewhat encouraging.
Also, if my memory is correct, I think he scored on his full Premier League debut against.... I'll let you fill in the gaps.

I think he's well aware of the fact that the fans just don't like him.
I don’t think there is a poster on here that would knowingly go and stand near thousands of people they knew disliked them. I wish the fella no ills but he’s been so bad/underwhelming for so long he isnt ever getting anybody onside again, I think not going anywhere near the fans is the only footballing decision he constantly gets right.
The only time I got angry last night - if he can’t see that pass never mind execute it he needs to knock football on the head. If memory serves correct just to compound it he plays the ball behind the overlapping player allowing chelsea to regroup and we didn’t even create a chance from the break.he may as well have just passed it to a chelsea player.
If I was playing as poorly as him the least id do is sprint around a bit but he’s just not interested.
At a total loss with this lad - he’s the poster child of our complete ineptness in the transfer market. Won’t be able to give him away with the wages he’s on.

The only reason I can think of why he doesn't play the pass (apart from him being cack) is he thought Doucoure is in an offside position, maybe I'm being too kind.
