Lampard trusts Iwobi to go on the pitch and do his best to carry out his instructions, Iwobi seems to be thriving on the trust. I think Frank is clever enough to realize that we cannot change everything in the summer window and that we will not be challenging for titles any time soon. While Iwobi would not be good enough for us if we were looking to qualify for the champions league, he may well be seen by Frank as a very useful part of his transition from the mess we currently are into a solid midtable side, who have a wage bill which will not get us sanctioned.

Not exactly, but I do recall reading someone who said basically that he's closer to a guy who plays off the striker than a target man and that Bruce probably would just see that he's massive and use him wrong.
Well yeh, he played off the front before Newcastle. Was just saying it wasn't like he was a centre mid signed to play up front. This came bang out of the blue.

Just read this stat, ?? Alex Iwobi created more chances (5), made more attacking third passes (19/25), made more successful crosses (5/6), made more ball recoveries (13) and made more successful tackles (5/11) than any other player on the pitch for either Everton or Watford.

This fella needs to be brought to the first page again. Horrible day for us but Alex cannot be faulted. A truly changed man.
So much so he's one of the 7 i'd keep when this squad hopefully get's dismantled in June.
