He’s been better elsewhere in patch’s, but he can’t justify a place because he can’t influence results enough, he can hit form, but he’s not a high quality consistent effective PL midfielder mate. He can be a liability, his breakdowns are to frequent and to costly.

He needs selling, though I’m not sure teams would be interested unless the deal was negligible. Will be in Turkey with three seasons.
My guess is he'll be playing for a club better than us in 3 seasons

Goal against Newcastle last season? Performance against Palace this season, goal against united... He has shown he has quality. He hasn't shown consistency and that is frustrating
......
He's had about 8 decent games in nearly 4 years , the first 3yrs he stunk the place out. A little purple patch , but now back to being absolute crap.

Flat track bully. Didn’t fancy it from Minute one against that gobshite Robertson.
Another in a long line of wide men at Everton with mirallas syndrome; players who get goalside without the ball but essentially don’t get within 2 yards of the player on the ball and allow them to pick a pass or whatever else they want to do to retain possession. Compare it to the kopites widemen tonight and many others in the premier league who show a determination to actually get a foot in and make a tackle to win the ball
Interesting point that.

Their support were screaming for blood all week, "gotta turn up against the bitters you lot." So they did.

We're to focused on headlock bill and the bullspit brigade so the proper harassment for the players walking around in a daydream just isn't there.

To easy, phone the performance in, knock off and clock out. I'll be alright jack, Burnley and Sheff Utd are hiring in the summer and I might be able to con one of them into a two year deal. Kerching!!!

He is a CM/AM, the more he plays wide the more he drops his head. Lampard got it right with him briefly, and then stuck him out on the right again.

He's played his preferred position all year. With varying degrees of success. For a while he looked like he had settled into a rhythm but since the world cup he's been awful.

It's only dyche that moved him to the wings the last few games because we sold Gordon and are a winger down. For one game he was alright, but last night he was dross again.

Was one of our worst performers, and given the overall level, that's saying something. Gave the ball away far too often and didn't manage Robertson at all. Also broke the laws of physics by somehow heading the ball in the opposite direction to what should have been possible. He's playing out of position, but who else would play right mid? We're so short of quality it's painful
