So frustrating this guy. He is fast and has all the technical ability yet just doesn't influence the game as much as you would like to think he is capable of. What is he missing and can it be coached into him?

He's ok, but nothing more than that, and that's the problem.

He's not even that. Because as someone correctly stated, his mentality is to just get by. As long as he gets paid he wont care what happens. Ive seen straight through him since day one. He never ever goes into a tackle to win a ball. Its more a gesture. Sadly the squad is so thin on the ground in everything he gets a game.
Carlo Ancelotti had him on the bench more than any other manager. He knew.
Everton MUST show this fraud the door.

Fantastic today according to his manager. Very weird, not even a confidence building comment as he was happy to say some others performed poorly.

Loved the way he woke up and ran himself stupid last year. But we are crap and we are his level. Might well be weighing up his options (so will we be given his salary, not all on him, no point signing him up to go down), but what well run team in any of Europe’s top divisions needs someone of his age that no manager has ever played in the position he thinks is his best position.

Yep, Dyche said he was outstanding and took ownership of his performance.

Dyche talking an absolute load of bollocks.

Great athlete, good engine, can dribble occasionally in the right direction, but sadly can’t pass, can’t shoot, has no vision or awarenes / football intelligence.
We need a decent number 10, we already have an abundance of grafters in central midfield. We need some creativity, someone who can pick a pass, change a game.

Spot on with this. For a former Arsenal player that came through under Wenger his technique is awful.

A truly terrible footballer. Please just get in your Bentley, put your Bob Marley tape on and go and join Orient. Arsenal gave Billy Bullocks 10 Million for Arteta and we sponked 35 on this freak.
Spot on. Amongst all the money wasted, I genuinely think Iwobi is the worst buy of them all. Siggy, Keane, Klassen, Tosun etc were all doing well for their teams when Everton overpaid as that is the nature of the beast, but Iwobi was a laughing stock at Arsenal but Everton still wanted massively overpaid by ten times.
