Another potential answer to the Fermi Paradox is the Great Filter, which is basically that any civilisation has a number of barriers to overcome in it’s development (planet being in the Goldilocks zone, multi cellular life developing, avoiding asteroid strikes, not blowing themselves up), and these barriers vastly reduce the likelihood of advanced civilisations developing.

Keep seeing these headline on Twitter etc but when you listen what was actually said it pretty much a whole load of nothing.

He could be talking about a meteorite with microbiological life…..
Fascinating & concerning* if true as iirc no form of ‘life’ has knowingly been found off planet yet, but not exactly Independence Day.
*concerning assuming that it’s not some sort of microbe already found on earth.
Would be typical Everton - we’re about to finally win something again only for Space Covid to kibosh everything.
