Police in Hertfordshire, England, report they received an emergency call after 8 o'clock one night last week from a man who insisted he'd seen a UFO.

"It's not an emergency per se," he said, "but there's something flying over our house. It's coming towards me now, there's all this light blazing. I don't know what the hell it is."

That may be true, but the vast distances they would need to travel to get to earth would mean they would need to:

A) Be able to live for hundreds if not thousands of years just to make the journey to earth.

B) be able to withstand massive amounts of G-force if they can fly at abnormal speeds

C) have the ability to navigate through wormholes or portholes to get here quicker (which I think is a lot of marvel movie bull).

If they have not spent their history focussed upon killing each other they will be more advanced. We are pathetic and consider ourselves advanced. Behind a van on M63 the other day with the 'lest we forget' transfers. I believe we have not been involved in conflict for about three years since 1945. We forget all of the time.
