No he never!! although that's what his warped fat head believesBut he saved us from relegation
Aye, in years to come no one would believe which pair cost more.Allerdyce saying if he had stayed and had the same investment? He blew 50 mil on Tosun and Walcott, imagine convincing Allan and James to come here aswell haha
What you mean? We where 23rd and had -100 points when he took us over, that what he believes lolNo he never!! although that's what his warped fat head believes
We did well in his first few games then gradually we didn't attack at all. If he wanted to stay in his job we could have averaged more than 1 shot a game. Amazing how he thinks we could have trusted him to stay on.

Tongue in cheek I hope! How that lump was ever associated with us beggars belief. But he saved us from relegation
No mate no he didn’t and no it wasn’t any achievement. We where 13th when he became manger. We won 1 game vs huddlesfield 1-0 and went 9th till the last day of the season.tbf they were emergency signings that had to be made in an inflated january transfer window in order to try and get the team to avoid relegation. I don't recall many people at the time being opposed to the signings. In fact both players did make an instant impact if i remember.
who knows what type of players allardyce would have brought in if he was given the opportunity to manage us long term, one of our worst ever managers silva signed richarlison who is one of our best players now. Allardyce has made some good signings in the past, especially during his Bolton days when he had money to spend such as youri djorkaeff, anelka, jay jay okocha, gary speed, ivan campo, fernando hierro, gudjohnson, kevin davies, henrik pederson etc
some big names in that list.
logically it made no sense to replace sam allardyce with marco silva, a manager who had just got a team relegated and had some horrendous records. If he had been replaced by a big name manager then fair enough but i think he has a point and given the failure of silva, a proven point that maybe he should have been given extra time. Whilst the football wasn't great, it was effective and he still got us to finish in 8th which was some achievement given how horrible that season started.
But the audience for his lies aren't a former club's fans. It's for those who support teams that had nowt to do with him and who don't pay attention to anything but the nonsense on the back page or Talk Sport. Its mad how he just pure lies in his interviews now. Its really sad.
we were 13th and 5 points above west ham in the relegation zone having just beaten west ham 4-0, 1 day before he was officially appointment and had apparently been in the dressing room for that west ham game which was deemed a 6 pointer. No mate no he didn’t and no it wasn’t any achievement. We where 13th when he became manger. We won 1 game vs huddlesfield 1-0 and went 9th till the last day of the season.
No he didn’t and we where never ever going down it was a mistake to appoint him and will e forever a black Mark on our club. He played horrendous boring football that drove the fans away. He seems half empty stadiums. We went 4 games with zero shots on goal. An most games we won 1-0 after having 1 shot on target. He had a chance to show he wasn’t a boring manager and he failed totally. After his 1st game we where a point behind Spurs who I believe finished 4th that season and we ended 20 odd points behind themwe were 13th and 5 points above west ham in the relegation zone having just beaten west ham 4-0, 1 day before he was officially appointment and had apparently been in the dressing room for that west ham game which was deemed a 6 pointer.
Don't try and dress it up as we were fine cos we were 13th when he was officially appointed because we were an absolute shambles defensively leaking in more goals than 19th place Swansea. In his first 7 games, we only conceded 2 goals.
He came in, shored up the Defence and made us difficult to beat which saw us get vital wins at home to teams that were around us like Huddersfield, Swansea, Brighton, Palace etc. There were no shocking results during his tenure, the only home games we lost were to Man Utd and Man City. He was appointed to do exactly that, make sure safely avoided relegation and write off the abysmal season that was caused by Koeman.

Don't buy the narrative that we were going to get relegated. We weren't.
Koeman had lost to Chelsea, spurs, United, arsenal and Burnley (and drew with man city) Allardyce lost to them all except for chelsea who he got a 0:0 draw with. And we actually had worse scorelines against arsenal and spurs.
Against the teams above: they both got 1 point from the games. Koeman: 3 scored 16 conceded.
Allardyce: 3 scored, 16 conceded.
In koemans other 3 games, he had beaten Stoke, Bournemouth and drew with Brighton so got 7 points. Allardyce got 6 points from his fixtures with them.
He was no better or worse. They were both abysmal.
