All Aboard the Sizeable Samuel Gravy Train!

Will Sizeable Samuel keep West Brom up this year?

  • He's Sam. Of course they will stay up

  • He has bitten off more than he can chew

  • Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy!

  • I hope the Fat Blert goes down faster than yer Ma on my Birthday

  • Who cares about West Brom anyway?

  • Give him a wafer thin mint, he's done.

It will be tough, but he has a good chance of keeping them up.

He is tailor-made for this as we know.

Basic organisation goes a long way in this league. Pick up a few draws here and there and win the odd game in 6.

It will be ugly but they won't care about that if they stay up.

Unless he`s given funds to buy a striker ( hopefully Tosun ) they`ve got no chance, as they aren`t scoring goals from anywhere.

Remember all those games when we had no shots at all on goal and he declared himself pleased with the inevitable draw that followed ?

When he came here, we weren`t in the situation that West Brom are in at the mo, plus Walcott played really well the first season that he signed, which made a massive difference to the whole team.

He weighed in with a few, as did Tosun.

Just don't get the love in, myself?

The quicker he goes down, the love will finally be done. Not bothered that he managed us, genuinely couldn't care less. Just hate that he's deemed as some kind of messiah, when the reality is, he's anything but. The League is so poor this season, that there's absolutely no way he's not keeping them up.

Let's hope he gets Tosun at least, that would be very welcome and partial payback.

That's his thing though. When he comes into a club he has a "7 point plan" his aim is not to win games it's to garner a draw (which will gain 1 point) and anything else is a bonus on top. It's all about not conceding with Sam rather than actually winning games, it's an odd approach but it works it's doing the bare minimum yet he wants the CL wage for it which i think is what winds a lot of fans up

I think it is less likely to work this season than it ever has. Pretty much every team in the league can attack. There aren't many teams who you can play as deep as he likes against for 90 minutes and not have serious issues. Villa would usually be one but they've got Grealish. Saints might have been but they can score goals. Leeds are newly promoted but they'll get goals. There aren't as many places for him to get points without trying to score.

If you don't concede you don't lose games.
If you don't lose games you are picking up points.
Constant attacking by the opposition leads to frustration, complacency, mistakes and holes at the back, which are then exploited to try to convert the draw into a win.

It's all one big wind up of the opposition.

Hated Sam the most. Silva and Martinez is basically a tie. They both produced a decent season but ultimately weren't good enough. Sam shades Koeman as the worst becasue 16/17 did happen it's just that Koeman has no ability to elevate a horrid squad. Losing Rom killed him off.
Nah sorry Ig but Koeman wins this at a canter.

At least Allardyce only signed us 2 crap players. It was probably one of the lowest moments for the club in recent times but a lot of that is because of the situation that led to us having to bring him in.
