All Aboard the Sizeable Samuel Gravy Train!

Will Sizeable Samuel keep West Brom up this year?

  • He's Sam. Of course they will stay up

  • He has bitten off more than he can chew

  • Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy! Gravy!

  • I hope the Fat Blert goes down faster than yer Ma on my Birthday

  • Who cares about West Brom anyway?

  • Give him a wafer thin mint, he's done.

Its one of many links. Google lookman derby loan 2017.
I really don't think this is a discussion worth having if you're telling me that us loaning him out 6 months after signing him meant his time here was done when he was 19 and had barely played first team football. That's clearly a large leap of logic. We sent Holgate out on an even more questionable loan and it still didn't feel like he was done here because of it, for example.

Not what I'm saying. I'm telling you that the rumors of being homesick and looking for a move to start some games predated Fat Sam.

What I'm saying is that Sam told him and Vlasic specifically they needed to leave to get games and neither wanted to come back afterward. There is a way to do these things. "Hey, Ademola, you're in my plans but I think for now a loan for experience would be better" isn't the same as "sort a loan as you'll not be playing here."

Maybe I'm wrong but I remember Sam pretty much being quoted doing the latter.

The disappointing thing for me with Alladyce is that he spent his whole management career bemoaning the fact he never gets a chance at a big club and then after he got it and fulfil the requisite of safety he didn't alter anything and continued with an ultra negative and non-progressive brand of football that he knew would never have been acceptable.

He was given his big chance and didn't have the balls to take it.

He was given the England job and his ego and wallet lost it in a week.

That's it in a nutshell really. He's made his money and I'm sure he'll be popular on the Sportsmens dinner circuit but when he closes his eyes at night I think those might be two things that keep him awake.

I truly believe that he thought while he was here that results were the only barometer and since he got them it didn't matter that the football made people's eyes bleed.

He's not pulling it off this time, they simply don't have enough goals in their side and the owner's not spending any money in Jan.

You can tighten teams up but unless their goals per game ratio comes up significantly they're not going to win many. I predict he'll bail out around late March/early April with some sudden medical problem, leading to a permanent retirement.

No idea whether he'll keep them up or not, but you're right, if it looks like he's not, he'll pull a sickie and early retirement

Sizeable Samuel is back, this time trying to stop West Brom getting relegated.

Not the best of starts. Down to 10 Men and humped by Villa, but he's only starting three points and goal difference away from safety this time

Can he keep them up? How much Brummy piss will he boil before the end of the season?

Strap yourself onto the Gravy Train and watch the King of Shithousery do his thing, safe in the knowledge it isn't our club he's at anymore.
Least worse case; He keeps them up and relegates Arsenal.
