Not really sure this is the case.
Injury aside he’s generally been good, but he’s not really a defensive mid so it’d be nice if we could stop playing him there

god knows what we do in training, we’ve had 2 weeks off and again have managed to lose a key player
You know that they still tackle each other in training? They still run.

Its not like they do non contact training.

A lot of injuries arent caused by fouls.

Unavailable too often to be relied on. Good player but very annoying that this is now his third or fourth injury
He’s had 2 injuries this season, not counting whatever this is,
he missed the Brighton (H) game but was back for the derby which was our next match, and then he did his hamstring v Leicester

Aye I know

It’s just we always seem to manage to do this

see the Southampton game when we had 8 days off after the derby yet had 3 players missing

He missed 1 game early on in the season, then missed a chunk of games with his big injury, now this if it's even an injury. Could just be sick or something.

Its very frustrating

We have to play weird systems to cover for constant midfield injuries. This system is not what I like but we have no real options. It was Davies with one of Sigurdsson or Gomes.
