you mean one yellow.Allan was working so hard in midfield last night. Hope we at least get the straight red turned to two yellows. No way the Premier League will back down to over turning VAR.

insanity if its three matches
it was never a straight red.
honestly though - most straight reds are two matches anyways.
they have tried to do us in consecutive games now with JJK and Allan. and the handball penalty. its a disgrace. i usually let things go, but its really suscipcious, because they are SO SOFT. they're doing us in.
Hahah what a user name. The issue with VAR decisions like that is that the ref was under pressure to send off right away even before he saw the evidence.
When he got to the screen it was already showing a still portraying the tackle in the worst possible light, not the whole thing. A kangaroo court basically.
VAR is supposed to make the decision process more consistent, less subjective and fairer. It doesn’t do any of those things, in fact it makes it worse.
What it does do is ‘entertain’ the neutrals and create ‘narratives’, even in boring matches. And that’s the real goal of VAR.
What’s wrong with my username?Hahah what a user name.

This was precisely my issue, the VAR official has stuck up the worst looking single frame, but you could do that for so many incidents and get whatever decision you want. Attwell just wanted the red.The issue with VAR decisions like that is that the ref was under pressure to send off right away even before he saw the evidence.

there are different types of reds even though they are all 3 matches. It will be 3 matches if it's not overturned. Straight red for dangerous play always is.

Im just saying that many reds could be 2 weeks and dangerous plays rightfully 3 weeks.
Allan tapped saint maximum because he went to foul the man but he wasn't going to hurt him. i wouldn't say it was a 'dangerous play' unless you want to interpret it as Allan leaving the ground and possible scissor action right at the end.
