Bit crazy how he went from our first choice midfielder to this so quickly. Feels like only yesterday he was getting sent off vs Newcastle. Not saying it’s the wrong decision either.

….the UAE transfer was strongly rumoured last week, with Rondon also possibly heading to that part of the world.

i had a suspicion Lampard and Allan didn’t get on but that could be totally misplaced.

i imagine this is a permanent transfer, Allan with the security of a deal covering this season and next.

Started off really well, putting himself about and being a nuisance, never seemed to be the same player after his injury at Leicester... was it his hamstring?

Be great to get his big wages off the books as he must be about 7th in line for the cm spots

Respect. He worked hard and wasn't one to back down from a challenge. A bit hot-headed but much prefer that to the torpor of, say, Sigurdsson pointing at his man and casually suggesting that someone else tackle him.

Agree that it's time for him to move on, the writing was on the wall when Carlo left, don't think it's the most prideful exit but this is how athletes' careers end, not with a bang but with an Al Walda.
