We need to give him time.

I'd say encouragement might be more crucial in the first year....and it's one of Goodison's biggest gripes with me, the groan and moans.

If he's as critical of himself as he says he is, ? like moaning and groaning won't be productive for someone with that mindset. Let him integrate; applaud the good, let the inexperience slide for now...basically, do the opposite of what's done (unfortunately) with local kids. Rooney's are very rare...always will be.

To be fair, no other club suffer ACLs or soft tissue injuries.

WAIT A GOD DAMN MINUTE

ACL tears and broken legs and other major injuries are just bad luck. It's the constant sprains and strains and pulled muscles that can be prevented or at least minimised by proper training and fitness. Those are what have people asking questions of the physios around here. Rightly so I would say.

His big hero is Kobe Bryant , so probably picked English up at a very early age watching all the basketball games.
Maybe a second language at school.

It is very good like tbh.
He speaks five languages. I haven’t heard his German, but his English and French are both excellent. Impressive guy.

Possibly, yes.

As I say, when people talk of broken legs and ACLs, it just makes them seem like a crackpot.

There is potentially an issue with how we deal with injuries, but personally I think we notice our players more, we track their injuries, we are more aware who misses what. I mean 1 of our physios did tell Bolaise to run a very serious knee injury off once, but im almost certain hes left the club.

So for me, there is scope for it to be an issue, but I honestly think its just really, really bad luck.

Remember 2008, first we lost Arteta our best player BY far, a nothing tackle, knee gone, then Yakubus Achilles just randomally explodes, then to cap it all off Jags snaps his knee just going for a jog on the pitch, tell me we arent cursed.

This is by far my favourite Everton video, its just peak Everton, it captures what Everton truly is in 6minutes.

We aren't cursed.

Is this just a thing in Belgium? Rom spoke like 6 languages too. I went to Spain once and could hardly order a cheese plate. Crazy to me that people can be fluent in that many languages.

Yeah, I think Belgium has three official languages and I think most everyone learns English so you're off to a heck of a start.
I have a friend who was born in Belgium, he speaks about 6 languages, but he has lived in about 8 different countries.

Fantastic video. That's the season I started following Everton. Quite the introduction. Particularly in retrospect.
