He was poor but it's to be expected. Young player, new league - he shouldn't be playing as much as he is.

Him/Gana been poor.

Davies/Garner should've been on pitch more last few games.
I’m not having young as an excuse. I expect young player to put in way more effort than he is offering now, covering more ground than he is doing now, match iwobi energy and desire. Age is definitely not a factor.

He seems to be playing and moving like Schneiderlin at time.

i'd concur that he needs to be dropped for a few games but i'd worry if that would effect his confidence.

i'm speculating, but i think he chose us over wham because of the promise of first team football. unfortunately, i don't think that starting him in every game has been a good idea.

It’s tough on a young guy in a new league, I think I’m time he’ll be a good player for us but at the moment he’s played 14 games, got one assist and scored no goals. Can’t really think of too many big chances he’s created either, the pass to Myko for Gordon’s goal against Palace but nowhere near enough for a player supposed to be playing a number 8 type role.

Think maybe playing him deep with Gana and letting Iwobi play further up the pitch might suit him better.

Thought he was pretty anonymous yesterday and stats back it up - didn’t make a single tackle, lost 50% of his duels and only had 31 touches - losing the ball 8 times with those 31 touches so dispossessed every 3.8 touches he had.
