Why does it have to be one extreme of the other??
Why cant they just not get hounded, and we try and get behind them while the game is being played?
Screaming booing and moaning at every single thing is not going to help these 20/21 year olds play better.
I didnt hear boos till the game was over. And I have no problem at that point.
Its not one extreme or the other. As fans we expect to see a 30m pound player make an impact.
More generally, we see players earning closer to 6 figures a week contributing absolutely nothing to our club. Of course we should be asking for more.
The rumours of pay rises and contract extensions are a complete joke at the minute. How can anyone at the club honestly think they merit a rise. It's a good time to be a mediocre footballer and we are the ideal club for them...

Its toxic and not a good environment for young players, never has been and its why we lose them and dont improve them.
I think its much more simple than that. We sign poor players for high fees and dont produce good players very often.

Its hardly a shock people are frustrated and disillusioned. The only thing left now is the inevitable spiral to relegation

Everyone needs to realise who and what we are these days then, saves the anger and bile.
I think most people do know how bad we are
What annoys people is the acceptance of the board and the lack of urgency and desperation to improve. If we weren't paying these terrible players so much money to fail, it would be much easier to swallow
If I were a neutral, I'd hope Everton fail and go down because they represent a lot that is wrong with modern football. Constantly wasting money for the sake of it and refusing to make any sort of long term decision.

Agredd, but that frustration and anger is being directed at the wrong people, is mis-directed and counter-productive.
This is an option we must explore. Maupay is finished and should not even be considered as an option.
