Seemed to be playing at the base of the midfield yday which, for me was’t the best use of him but it also suggests FL doesn’t trust Gana in there.
Understandable with how much Gana has given the ball away

I think the midfield is actually being harshly done by. I don't think any of them had a bad game.
The drastic state of the attack means whenever they do something good, nothings coming of it so it just gets forgotten and then snowball's into isolating their mistakes
Prime example Gana winning the ball driving forward and putting it on a plate for Gordon, who misses because he's just not got the minerals imo

You take out his stats for the first 4 games and compare them with the last 4 games and tell us the difference
This is what we are complaining about. The intensity and the energy level drop. As if he believes he can be world class without putting in yards.

No, I’ll dig it up later, but I do remember his stats was extraordinary in the rs game. If that is what he is capable of, then I think his recent performances were mediocre.

Why not think outside the box and put Keane up front? The way he put the Palace defence to task in the second half of that game last season showed he can make more impact, and score more goals, than Maupay ever will. Of course, Lampard does not think expansively. Most of his substitutions are like for like.

Im just going off the sky sports stats posted in the article. They point at him being very effective from a defensive standpoint.
Ive not seen Gana's stats but I would imagine that his arent close to Onana's. If anything I'd be looking at Gana's performances as underwhelming.
Having said that, were talking about a 21 year old who will have ups/downs and who I think should be playing alongside Gana as an anchor.
Were yet to see the best of him but as a 'diamond' i think Pickford, Coady, Tarkowski, Onana looks impressive.
This is the most frustrating this about them all. We know they can perform, they just don’t.
