His partnership with Iwobi gave us balance in midfield, we did not get overrun in the middle of the park.

Brentford had to rely on ball over the top and down the flanks as their main threat.

Both of them can achieve so much more in a 3 man midfield.

Think this is the way myself. 4-3-3 with those 3 in the middle and we simply don’t lose the midfield battle.

Not the finished article, mentally seems to be more into being on the ball which is great but off the ball 2 times in crucial periods of play he fell asleep. The boy needs time to mature mentally. That taken into account his mixed bag today was encouraging.
