I did not say he was poor. He just has a lot
More in him we all have seen it. He just fades out of nowhere sometimes
He can’t see it and won’t have a bad word said about him even tho half the fan base have seen it for over a season now. Always said he has potential and is young but regardless of age I’d like to see some consistency, that’s what the very top young players do and for fees mentioned for him is what I’d expect.

@Zatara
Ha why the middle finger ?

He did disappear. I like him! There is a real player in there. Just genuinely curious why he goes missing.

Wasn’t poor but wasn’t great either. Meh!

See below

He looked on it before they got their first goal then it fell apart with the rest of the team.

He was quality until the 1st goal...then we started abandoning midfield and punting it.

When he was on the ball he kept it ticking over, got us our goal with his drive and wasnt at fault for anything.

What we saw with him and Garner the other day was ripped apart by Dyche today.

He was great then above average.

I blame Dyche.

Garner/Onana looks good.
Patterson/Harrison looks good.

What does he do...plays the old players. Punts the ball.

Our good players wont improve under this guy.

We need a manager who can get the best out of our talented players

Out of Garner, Gana, Doucoure and Onana then he consistently is the worst of the 4. I think Gana is poor in possession but no doubting his defensive effectiveness.

Onana offers nothing to this team when there’s any bit of pressure. He reminds me a bit of Barkley where he was only good when we were playing well and 1 or 2 goals up. Onana is worthless in a game he’s expected to win.

Clearly you dont understand football.

Thought he was good until we decided to completely cut out the midfield and just hoof it, thought he was very good until they scored.
Always seems to be excuses for him if that’s the case either change manager and utilise him or sell him cause he’s sounding like a luxury player who will only do well when the game evolves around him not the nitty gritty battling bring yourself into the game kind of players we need right now. So just to confirm it’s the tactics that have been wrong for the best part of 43 games and not him?

I agree, if Dyche is here all season and playing those tactics we may as well sell him. On the other hand I thought he was class the last two aways when we had decent tactics.
