Rumour about Newcastle wanting to pay £85m for him? really? I thought they were now sell to buy? (I get this tweet is almost 2 days old)

Think thats been proven to be a spam account.

However, the rumour isnt only there. For around a week or so Newcastle have been linked with him since the Tonali ban became imminent.

£85mil would give us around £75mil once his 20% clause on profit is taken care of.

Our midfield is so light beyond him and Garner though...it would be insanity to sell in Jan.

Also, if he continues this level up to the end of the season his fee will continue to increase.

We may even be lucky enough that he extends, like Branthwaite.

Agreed I'd also like to see him be more positive when he drives forward. He needs to draw one of the defenders more before he passes and try to play it forward rather than sideways. Breaking the lines like he does is a golden opportunity to create a chance and he needs to take more of a risk.

Basically starting to look like Gaz Baz but with a bit more going forward at this point. Reads everything two steps ahead, somehow has a radar for which shoulder pressure comes from, wins the ball with the next step already planned.
I know everybody wants him to score goals, but he's a fantastic number 6 type.
