Tielemans meanwhile have 1,160min in all comps this season and though he has played internationals since the world cup that is KdB and him

Sell for 60-70 (which gives us 50-something net). Spend maybe 15-20 of that. The rest goes towards balancing the books.

Ideally, we need to be repeating this over the next few years (buying prospects, developing them and selling them for profit). We are not close to being able to keep our top talent - either matching the ambitions of players, or balancing the books.

I think it’s fair to say that he has a high ceiling as he has all the attributes to become a top player BUT he’s been a very mediocre player for Everton.

Exactly he’s got the attributes and seen glimpses of it who’s to say he’s going to go on and consistently do it. You missed off Antony Gordon, another winger who apparently can play as a midfield 2. Can’t wait to see grealish next to Henderson at the World Cup. Garner hasn’t a cap and I’m not sure Jones has. But me mentioning dedoncker is a bad example . I forgot about Doku? Anityer winger/wide striker that im sure could do a job as a holding midfielder.

Most of the ones you’ve mentioned are very attack minded players, I’m taking about holding midfielders you lunatic. I’m sure a Belgium could pick out players With a few caps like you have. Lavia has 1 cap and I’m sure There’s plenty of others

i suppose the problem is how we spend it, Thelwell has done quite well considering his hands have been tied, I’d imagine he’d target under 25yr olds in spending real money on them, will dyche want different players? Yeah you’re right I think thelwell and scouts have done well the last year or 2 to identify good young players, the problem we’ve had is not having any money. What’s annoying me more than anything is possibly selling far less than he’s worth. In a market were caicedo and rice go for over £100m I hope we don’t flog him for buttons. Just seems though we’re selling what we can to keep the lights on

Rice has been absolutely fantastic for several years.
