Outside of work he can do what he wants, same as all of us really. However he can’t moan if the expectation on him is huge. I think if he carries on the way he is he will become another Ross Barkley, someone who nobody will really remember in 10 years.
Everytime he’s away from Everton whether on international duty or just on a break he seems to give a silly interview. Lukaku did this, again, he could have had a statue at Everton however he chased glory and got ridiculed at Manchester United, Chelsea, Inter. A lot of these guys talk themselves up thinking they are bigger and better than Everton. I hope one day we can become the club where this doesn’t happen.
If I am Dyche at the moment I am getting everyone to finch farm, getting them on all on coach and taking them around Bramley Moore. Hopefully it will show players what they are playing towards. Yes you can goto Chelsea and play in front of 40k in a quiet stadium, yes you could but imagine this place rocking with 55k Everton fans screaming your name! I think that’s the message now.

This is a weird take. Interviews do not effect your on pitch performance. Lifestyle can, but I very much doubt the devout Muslim Amadou Onana lives a similar lifestyle to the one that derailed Barkley. I don't see how the two are remotely comparable.
