2023/24 Amadou Onana

I think that the position that we are in makes selling Onana a much better option than keeping him, as long as the funds are used wisely.

His eventual sale is inevitable anyway, and I don’t think having Onana providing the odd good performance over the course of this season would be better than getting two 30 million pound players in, especially if one of them is a 30 million pound striker.

Our premier league status remains in jeopardy!

If we sold Onana and managed to sign Gallagher and Adams I’d say that’s quite good business with Gallagher replacing Onana and Adams a long term Gana replacement. But I don’t think we’ll do anything good with the money because we’re run by clowns sadly.

I know people don’t like Gallagher by the way but I do and I think his inconsistency is actually just like Onana which makes sense for their age - we’d get more immediate goals and assists out of Gallagher that’s for sure

people are giving oh 75/80 mill we shouldn’t take any less etc

we will take 60
Of course we would. To be fair it's a decent return on a player who has done nothing.
1 way for me to look at it. Would we be happy if we paid £60m on a player, who has shown only glimpses? We would be in uproar.
£20m pure profit in 12 months. Yep course we would take that.
