That performance today was basically a carbon copy of all of the ones that Andre Gomes got absolutely roasted for. Exactly the same. Just shuffling around without much of a plan. Not getting into anybody. Not getting on the ball with purpose.

The thing is, I actually think both Onana and Gomes have a place in certain systems with certain managers. They both have good qualities that can be brought out, but they aren't the types of all-around solid players that can just be plugged in any system and work well. This is definitely not the manager or system for him, clearly.

He is not what is needed. We need a player that sees the ball. Gets it and drives forward, bringing others into play. I don't really see what he is good at.
