Stayed in hers once while she was with Les Dennis. I used to be mates with his niece and she lived with them for a bit when she went to uni down in London. They had a cinema in their basement and they’d had a painting made that filled an entire wall of the corridor down to it. It was her as Dorothy from the wizard of Oz and Les as the Straw man. They had the same dog as tonto so that was painted into the painting haha

Feel like I should add a bit more to this. Her and Les weren’t there whenever I went to stay, it was always when they’d gone away. They had the edition of OK magazine with their wedding photos in casually laying on the coffee table for anyone who came round to browse and a massive poster of her with a hairdryer holding it like Bond holds his Walther PPK In a advert for that cutting it right as you came into the hall from the front door.

As any young buck would I got into her bedroom just to say I’d been there. Lovely house in Primrose Hill but that Wizard of Oz mural haunts my dreams
