American Food

If I can find a picture to do it justice, I'll post it, but my mama's chicken fried steak and white gravy are heavenly.

How are her corn fritters...although I've seen them done all sorts of different ways. These are how I know them:

I don't know what language is being spoken in here.

Yorkshire pudding, sliced rare salmon cut roast beef, real* gravy, roast potaots & mashed, veggies, apple pie and custard for sweet. Sort it.

I know you folks like your Mexican food here, and since @Bryan mentioned MVF, here's a fusion of both Mexican and American that he tried while filming in The Old Pueblo. Tucson's contribution to the culinary world, the Sonoran Hot Dog...

Ingredient list, beyond the hot dog itself, courtesy of Sunset mag: "There’s bacon, and pinto beans and grilled onions, and a fireworks-burst of condiments: chopped fresh onions, chopped fresh tomatoes, jalapeño sauce, mayonnaise, mustard. Add a grilled yellow chile on the side and voilà, the Sonoran Hot Dog―aka the Mexican Hot Dog―which has risen to cult status in the Southwest."

Calorie bomb, cholesterol spike. I wouldn't eat more than one every month or two.

Wait wait wait, I think I followed most of that but.... bacon, pinto beans, onions, condiments, onions again, tomatoes, jalapeno, mayo, mustard, jala chili. Wheres the "pork link"? What makes this a hot dog? No weiner no dog!
