An important watch for those who boo our team.

No, there wasnt.

I've just watched it back as well.

Just after he missed there was lots of fuming and possibly a slight sound of booing but i don't think it was, then during the second replay there was definite booing for a couple of seconds.

But it's impossible to tell where it was coming from or who it was aimed at.

In all my years coaching and watching football, I'm convinced that 95% of success in sport is in the head - ESPECIALLY with younger players like Lukaku and Barkley. Give an average player confidence and he becomes a better one. The better player puts fear into the mind of the good player opposing them, making them an average player.

A crowd should ALWAYS cheer and encourage their home team. Opposing players and officials repeatedly show that they are influenced by loud vociferous home crowds. Yet Goodison isn't the twelfth man at the moment. Goodison isn't the kind of crowd that Kendall once said "will suck the ball across the line." And we have no prawn sandwich eaters to blame.

Yes they're paid way too much - but so are the opponents - and booing them won't change that. The players are also human and make errors - so are we. And if we had 30 odd thousand people booing us if we dropped a mug in the kitchen, I think any of us would be very nervous the next time we made a cup of tea.

People need to lighten up and remember that this is sport and is there for fun. Remember how well the lads played last year when they were enjoying having Moyes' shackles removed?

Definitely, as soon as the opposition hears the home fans getting frustrated they will instantly feel better about themselves! It's probably a tactic for a lot of teams

John Aldridge was on Talksport earlier talking about Liverpool's away game in Turkey and then decided to stick the knife into Everton by saying " I can't believe they have Everton on ITV1 on Thursday, at least the people can count the empty seats in the stadium while they play turgid football and the level of booing will be less for a change. The peoples club.............. Hahah more like the peoples booooooooooooing "

I hate him.

These redshite will never let us live this booing crap down..am getting [Poor language removed] off them in work already.

I think it's time for a fatwa

I work around the Country, and the amount of people who mention how negative our home support is unbelievable They mention the treatment Barkley receives, and others if things are not going well. I find this difficult to take at times, as when we are behind our team we are second to none, but it have no argument
All clubs have Boo boys, but this season I believe we have been a total embarrassment.

I can never understand Booing, as it can only have a negative affect, but guess people pay their money so entitled to voice their opinions

The only boos really were aimed towards Martinez. And do you know I don't care if there was booing towards Lukaku or Mirallas after their recent press encounters.

As others have said on here,I think fans are not booing the players so much,it's more a way of showing their disapproval of Martinez, and his sometimes weird subs and team selections.
Lots of fuming about Martinez in the park end, where I sit.

Thanks for your thoughtful insight into my post.

As I mentioned booing only produces a negative effect, and for me is mindless and senseless

Mindless when he takes off the best player on the pitch and throws on Atsu?...

It is hard to support a manager than shows very little adaptability and plays the same formation every week like a broken record.
