An unbelievably nice gesture from the reds.

I'm sure they will respect it, given the depth of feeling about this.

Remember they are playing it for Rhys not for EFC so there is no reason not to respect it, I trust, but like many I will listen with interest

Friend of mine who's a red sent me a link to the story and my first thought was the same as you guys, class gesture on their part.

*clapping reds for a night*

Goes to prove that even in a football crazy city such as liverpool, where to everyone, footbal is such a way of life, we can recognise that indeed life is more important than anything else. Huge respect and I'm sure it will be honoured by everyone, after all young Rhys was a liverpudlian first and foremost.

I pay tribute to Liverpool FC, management, players and supporters for the exemplary manner in which they paid their respects to Rhys Jones and his parents, who were at Anfield in Everton shirts. There was no interruption to the playing of Z-Cars which was followed by the supporters singing You'll Never Walk Alone.

I will say it on this Occassion, Well done and Thank you.
