An unbelievably nice gesture from the reds.

Unfortunately they tonked Toulouse in the process of being honorable.

But bravo for the respect shown to Rhys and Z-Cars.

That is remarkable and just shows notwithstanding the rivalry between the clubs we are in the end all scousers.

Speak for yourself Bob. Leyland born and bred.

Yep nice one. Big Ups to the staff at anfield, and also second the loss of Puerta. The guy was a good player and at 22 had all the world at his feet.

In our semi finals at the weekend, I really wanted to hurt the other teams keeper. We were at each others throats in the 50-50's and i swear he should have got sent off. He's got a big head and a bigger mouth and I was gunna kill him.

But we met at the canteen after the game, slyly smiled at each other and shook hands. What goes on the feild stays on the feild, and we had a beer after. I love this game, and no matter what happens, at the end of the day its not just a game.

That was an extremely kind gesture by the Reds. At least your country still expresses shock and outrage when an innocent kid is gunned down on the street.

Sevilla's CL match and Super Cup match were postponed which was a nice gesture by their opponents too.

did we play 'you'll never walk alone' at goodison after hillsbrough?

Yes we did, Gerry Marsden sung it if Im right and we all joined in. As we should have.

And McBain, you ever heard about telling your winger to get the ball high into the box and leaving a moody knee/elbow into the keeper?

Works every time.

As chicoazul said Gerry Marsden sang it and everyone joined in. I also remember the Liverpool supporters had a huge banner at the Park End which said "thank you, we never walked alone". At half time it was walked around the pitch by Liverpool supporters to huge applause.

Of course many blues (including me) knew someone killed at Hillsborough and we also knew it was only by the Grace of God that it wasn't us that had suffered the loss. I carried the coffin of a friend who died at Hillsborough - so sad, even now :(
