Underwhelmed by that assessment, tbh.

Just hope Dign and Mina do the business. It looks like Bernard is a no show for a few months to me, and Gomes is a bit poor. Zouma is Koeman-esque signing, apart from the fact we haven't thrown £25M at it...yet.

My first test is whether the player is better than what we already have in his position. I feel it's a definite yes. Would I eventually like to have an even better central midfielder? Yes absolutely. But we were never going to get everything sorted in one summer. It's about improving the squad and reducing the age profile. More to do over the next handful of windows but this is a good start.

Bernard played 27 games last season and end of March got a shoulder injury so he missed end of season.

You want them to fail, so you can complain about it on here and issue more stupid names such as "carpetbagger" and have more meltdowns about Baines and Jags.
