I watched him in the World Cup, I was surprised as he played every game, in a very talented, young side and he was keeping some highly rated players out the team so I specifically watched to see why…being honest, I thought he was good and I could see why he did but it still wont sit right with me as to how he’s ended up here.

Based on what I seen, which is still very limited, I’d have signed him on a short term contract for free but that’s not why we’re signing him. We’re signing him not cause he fits what we’re looking for in a striker more so cause he’s the only striker we can sign so we have no other choice. It’s either him or nothing.

All that said though, I still think he’s decent and the likes of Lamptey or the lad who Southampton snatched off us this week, couldn’t get in the front 3 ahead of him, even if they are all slightly different players.
