Andre Ayew

Why do Forest even need him? Seems like every time we go for any player there's a forest a Bournemouth a Saints in contention too they all have big squads it's almost like they just want to prevent us getting anyone even a warm body. I think there's an attempt to help us on our way down.

They need someone to eat the leftovers in the canteen ?

Been a long week...meant championship of course...
Yeah been a long week for us all. Regarding your point about the youth teams, I think there’s a reasonable amount of talent coming through. But those who could’ve helped immediately up front / out wide (Dobbin, Cannon) are out on loan. Mills is the obvious guy to step up.

I like the look of Okoronkwo and Sherif is scoring goals but he’s only 16, although he looks like a bit of a unit already. Names for the future but not now. With only DCL, Maupay and Simms for centre forward I think if there are injuries we’re looking at first teamers out of position before someone coming from the academy.

Here we are then, sweating on the EFL ratifying a loan deal that would then let Forest register the chubby journeyman we are reduced to courting even though we aren’t even his first preference. It’s all good. Everything’s fine.

They need to leave 13 players out of the 25 man squad anyway so I really don’t think one player going on loan makes a difference.

Not that I am particularly bothered about signing Ayew, but how are they allowed to still be sorting out loan deals two days after the window has closed?

Could sell ice to the Eskimos this fella.

Let Forest put him on a 2 1/2 year 100k a week deal. They’ll live regret it. He wasn’t that good 3 years ago when he left the PL and I doubt he’s improved much as gets deeper into his 30s.

I’m annoyed as anybody over our lack of action this window, but it would be crazy to put him on silly wages and/or a long contract.

There were better options out there and we should’ve gone for them during the window. We didn’t, so we are where we are. To be fair Lampard should’ve gone after the Bournemouth double defeat before the WC. All we‘ve done is waste a lot of time and easier games on what was a busted flush.

For me we’ve gambled Dyche being able to get more out of these players than Lampard could. The recent games have shown they were playing well below their potential. But how far below? We’ll see in the coming weeks.

If we’re more hard-working, organised, and have a plan then we may still avoid relegation. It can be done!

Regardless of the result, the Arsenal performance will tell us a lot.

This is so embarrassing.

I didn't want him.....but being turned down by him feels gut wrenching. Toilet bowl football club status confirmed once and for all.
